Bob Connell The founder of Yoga for Life. Bob has been practicing Yoga for over 15 years and instructing for 8 years. He has certifications with David Swenson and Eric Shiffman. He has trained with various Instructors including Beryl and Thom Birch, Duncan Wong, David Life and Sharon Gannon. He has trained numerous instructors in Power Yoga. He directs the yoga program at the Newtown Athletic Club and teaches 6 AM classes. He has led a number of International Yoga Retreats to Costa Rica and Mexico.
Monica Welsh Originally from Taiwan, she moved to Pennsylvania with her husband and children. She has been teaching Yoga for the past three years at the Newtown Athletic Club and at other studios and organizations throughout the area. She has received Yoga Certifications from David Swenson and Bob Connell.
June Miller June teaches various styles and levels of yoga, Pilates, and yogalates at studios and health clubs in Bucks County with emphasis in Power and Ashtanga Yoga as well as Mat Pilates as her training and certifications are in those systems. Balancing a full time career as an air traffic controller and raising five children has given her personal knowledge of the value of yoga and pilates for relieving stress and stress related physical ailments. She is eager to share her joy of yoga and pilates and believes the class should be fun while being challenging. The benefits will build physical strength, increase endurance, balance, and flexibility, while achieving a greater peace of mind and a renewed spirit.
Shelley Pulaski-Fisher Since graduating from nursing school Shelly has been involved with the health and fitness industry. Her interest in yoga came from teaching aerobics for the past 23 years and looking for a different and better way to achieve flexibility and strength. In addition to teaching Yoga, Shelley is a certified Think Light Weight Management Facilitator for the Newtown Athletic Club and other corporations. She is a certified Instructor in Power Yoga and is also certified by the American Council of Exercise. Shelley is the mother of twin boys and lives in Bucks County.
Carol Ann Marusiak RYT Carol Ann was a business and computer science instructor for 7 years at NMSU before moving to Phoenix in 1993 for a career as a Human Resource Director. After 10 years, the job made her physically ill. Determined to heal her own body, Carol Ann began a regular Yoga practice and has since regained her health. She is passionate about Yoga both as a student and as an instructor. One of her greatest joys is sharing yoga with people of all ages, genders, sizes and abilities. Some of the specialty classes she teaches include: Parent/baby, Parent/tot, Kids 3-6, Children 6-12, as well as Chair Yoga. Carol Ann recently started a new class, Yoga for Athletes. Carol Ann’s Hatha style of teaching comes from the principles of alignment of B.K.S. Iyengar and his use of props to assist people to more fully embrace an asana. Carol Ann recently relocated to Pennsylvania with her husband, George Chase, and her German Shorthair, Duchess. She also has 2 grown children.
